We dodged the rain and 54 runners and walkers joined us for the 2.5 lap trek around Joe Creason Park. 7 parkrunners joined us for the very first time and 8 of you walked back up the hill with new personal bests!

Our 15th free weekly 5K of 2026 is coming up this Saturday at 9:00. Run/walk/jog/volunteer/vibe. Nobody finishes last and nobody is left behind.
If it’s your first time meet us at the bottom of the hill at 8:45 to get a run down of the course and the finish process. And bring your dog too!
Google Millennium Park parkrun. It was active briefly a couple of summers ago in Alberta. Sadly the event directors couldn't find anyone else to continue the event after they moved away. Would have loved to do that one!
We had a great group. Young and old, fast and slow, two and four legged. 8 beautiful volunteers assisted including Run Director Sydney who volunteered for the 50th time!

We had our 5th week of 60 or more parkrunners already in 2026. 61 runners and walkers took a token and all 61 gave it back.
12 folks joined us for the first time and 13 parkrunners walked back up the hill with new personal bests!

The 325th edition of Louisville favorite free weekly 5K went off without a hitch on Saturday. We welcomed 47 runners and walkers and enjoyed the debut of our youngest ever Run Director, Landon. He ran the ship with a steady hand and gave a wonderful run brief.

A classic spring morning at Joe Creason and how crazy was it that we had at least 5 parkrunners who double dipped and ran the 10K before cooling down on the hill.

On Saturday we welcomed our 3rd consecutive crowd of 60+ parkrunners. This included 11 folks getting their barcodes scanned for the very first time and 3 tourists visiting from White Lick Creek parkrun in Indianapolis. One of those visitors, Barb S, smashed the record in the women’s 70-74 age group
