I have identified an issue, where my "GameManager" is more akin to a "BattleManager"
My GameManager has all of the code for advancing my battle-states. That code should all me split out into its own thing, so I can have a single GameManager instance throughout all of my scenes.

Slowly Starting to get the theme together...

Reworking another mechanic, It might be better if damage is dealt during a balls run, rather than after
I've also removed base damage from balls completely and created the "Impact" rune to mimic the original damage style
Means I can have balls that deal no damage at all!

Rune system is go!
Runes you play add effects into slots of your balls, these runes last for a single shot, the battle, or permanent for the whole run
Got a lot of Rune ideas ready to code

I love it and I hate it.
I love talking to people about what im working on, but when they get going and drop "you should totally add _____", I immediately want to add it.
I'm also working on an incredibly modular system, so its very easy to just add things on a whim
have you considered running on 3 hours of hatred and pure sleep?
How fun is save data management!
Systems mostly in place, a few more things and it should be good to leave for a bit
Now to just inscribe said runes through gameplay...

I was suddenly struck with inspiration, pulling out a project I havent touched in coming up on 10 months or so.
I also seem to be coming down with a cold at the same time.
How good!
If I had a kid, I don't think I'd be able to leave my kid alone.
I'd be out there shoving my kid in other peoples faces being like "Hey look at this thing I helped make"
It's a bit sad that a lot of people (myself included) didn't grow up with overtly active dads in parental duties.
