Rachel’s - Music For Egon Schiele album cover. A faded sepia-tinted photograph of some skeletal trees.
"Rachel Grimes fleshed out the potential for musical visions in our community, and helped everyone here realise that there were no boundaries."

Audio mastering by Christopher Leary.
Was going to suggest Chris/Melograf but sadly it sounds like he’s not taking on any work at the moment melograf.com - sorry for the unhelpful reply

Still a bit skeptical about the Wembley Arena as a venue but I guess it’s just extra reverb!

From IG: Heart Of Noise Cambridge presents a stellar lineup of Lee Ashcroft (theremin moody beats), @23hangingtrees.bsky.social (Xavier Watkins, Bouchla and more), experimental guitarist N.O. Moore, and laura dymphna (with Tom Hatfield and Nye Jones on live visuals). Sorry I cannot go: rehearsal!

One of my favourite photos. Took it 18 years ago. Amazing to see Wolf Eyes again last night!

One of the albums I’ve listened to the most…thing is I remember being thrown by it on first listen, as a big fan of Crooked rain. Definitely changed my outlook on music.

While walking to school in the morning, my daughter and I have started listening to “far away sounds”, “close sounds”, then sounds in between. Then on my way back home I listen to music on my headphones and feel like I am primed for deep listening - even if I’m walking.

P90s are very midrangey, and Big Muff style pedals tend to scoop the mids so maybe that balances itself out, making it sound fatter than the Lollars?
