Got it. Slow to open on web here though. I’m told our issue over the last few days with our site is all Xfinity and nothing to do with Ghost. 🤷 Ghost has been helpful and patient with me this week.

On a side note- folks need to stop posting addresses. It helps the scammers, spammers, etc.

Thanks for the note. I hope you can see how having two listservs for one neighborhood can be quite confusing. Thanks again.

Here’s all I was able to get - “The firearms were collected in connection with a mental health crisis. The individual is currently receiving appropriate care.”

On at least one they spelled “The Zebra Press” and another word in the comic wrong. You’d think that would be important.

Tall Ship Providence does have a liquor license from DC for 0 Cameron Street in Alexandria. Fascinating.

Guess I’m giving myself work. It was meant to be just a thought

I imagine someone has already looked into this, but imagine going through with this and it being null and void because you’re a couple yards off shore. Wild.

Nerd out on this… wouldn’t getting married on the Tall Ship Providence technically be getting married in DC? And wouldn’t you need a DC wedding license/officiant? Or is everything on Google Maps and the Pier Bar a lie? 🤷

It’s also usually overpriced and awful. 🤷

None of the council members present raised the point that the staffing data had already been presented at the March 4 joint work session or indicated that they had the information.

This story has been updated to reflect that not all council members indicated they lacked information. Councilman John Chapman commented after publication that the characterization did not apply to the full council, saying, "Correction: All of a council was not lacking that info".
