Wear your Mando Crown to opening night. Pass it around.

A comprehensive revamp to another era could have been a lovely second chapter for Batuu, if fully committed to the amount of detail with which it was originally built.
This is a cut-rate, hodgepodge appeasement of the most toxic critics' wish lists, and I hope they'll be happy.
Star Wars Campus.
That's fair, but also speaks to a dissonance between the physical space and the characters appearing in them. (Vader is dead in both the eras we're talking about.)
I'm sticking with the theory that the physical land is still ST, and the characters are entirely separate.
Also, Brooke McDonald confirmed with Disney that the radio station is remaining, so we'll have to wait and see how extensive the edits are. Current loop is 90 minutes.
Rest assured, they do not have the budget to erase all traces of the ST. There is no way they will pay to modify the Bounty Hunters or Datapad experiences, and the backstory of the new shop sure reads like it would have to take place in the ST.
Could also just be a random shutoff. It disappears for months at a time.
Them: Are you excited about the Mandalorian movie?
Me: Yes, watching a knight in shining armor and his wizard frog baby murder runaway nazis sounds like exactly what I need right about now.
I hope during this promotional tour someone asks Favreau why his corner of the Star Wars universe hasn't been permitted to expand in publishing.
They've realized the true cost of convenience.

Me, realizing the only other notice they replaced on the board was for the Datapad app:
Me, learning they've removed Captain Keevan's mechanic job listing from Oga's notice board in Batuu West:

Honored to be invited back to discuss the evolution of Galaxy's Edge with @intoalargerworld.bsky.social.
It's a difficult topic at the moment, but cathartic to look back with a friend.
(Thanks, as always, to @forcetimepod.bsky.social for his editing magic!)

I customized a Starcruiser Rey doll!
Assembled from Hot Toys parts for that Parks-specific combo of Force Awakens hair and Last Jedi outfit. Holocron & injector models by @stormtrooperguy.com, finished & painted by me.
"To those who follow the path of the light, hope to the galaxy you will bring."
The anonymous pirate who randomly sends me bootleg vinyls correctly assumed that I would want an album of unreleased Ouanni tracks to celebrate Starcruiser's 4th anniversary.
Continued thanks, rebel.
For a time, Disney was doing 4K releases of the STAR WARS streaming shows, but that seems to have stopped. So, fuck it! Put THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT in the Criterion Collection. When physical media is rapidly dying, it's self-sabotaging to be precious about this shit.
Sunset on a cold desert. Six podracers tear through the canyon toward us, while a seventh crashes into a fallen natural column and explodes in a violent fireball. A moon hangs low on the horizon, and the stars peak through the thin atmosphere above.

Full house. Wonderfully appreciative crowd. Always a joy to revisit. It mythologizes elements of humanity in a way I find particularly helpful in our present moment. I'm so thankful for this movie.
