today rasputin finally turned a corner and started acting like his old self/eating normally, after being hospitalized last weekend. i think he's just glad i'm no longer trying to cuddle him while crying and getting his fur wet.
rasputin is barely eating and his meds make him act like a zombie but he does purr and come sit on my chest (and pass gas) so like. idk what to do
the state of affairs is me sobbing while lying on my couch with my cat, as he snores and farts up a storm
tobio on the other hand is running around like "am i FINALLY an only child like i've always wanted???" while i am actively in tears
he is staying at the emergency vet for at least a day or two (prognosis is good, all things considered) and i'm struggling to be normal about it
