Rogue health clinic, Stanton Healthcare Belfast, is part of a network of dark-money funded, Christian-right, anti-abortion centres operating internationally.
It presents itself as a health and abortion centre, however numerous clients report having experienced bullying and coercion to dissuade them from terminating their pregnancies.
Case studies on one of Stanton’s websites boast about working with Sudanese and Ukrainian women and it says the majority of its clients are migrants. Campaigners for women and migrant rights in Belfast are concerned that the organisation is targeting vulnerable women coming from war zones.
