At least that part is honest--Who can say?

I'm currently struggling with how to teach these stories to the kids at church, having grown up in a literal-Bible environment. I want them to believe what the Bible says about God and Jesus and the Spirit and life, but how do I do that with these?

It's hard--I felt the same way when I turned 45--my life had completely fallen apart, and the last thing I wanted to do was celebrate it. I'm sorry that's how this new year is coming in.
