Being a selfpub author is, at least three times a year, spending months and way too much effort switching to a new platform minutes before it announces that it's going to pay everyone in expired Free Hug coupons from now on.

There’s really no way to describe how much self-publishing is a gauntlet. I haven’t advertised my books in a year because I’m making new covers for the series so they match. And I have a hybrid publisher who takes care of at least some of the back-end work.

I had this idea a while back, and the only way to see if it works is to try it.

The idea is monthly mini-sales on a theme, like a book bundle, except that readers can browse and pick what interests them.
