Farmers aren’t getting paid. Over 30,000 people have lost federal jobs. Over 200,000 private sector employees have been laid off. The stock market keeps trending down. Inflation is going up again. We can barely afford food. No one can afford medical. What part of any of that is good?!

My brother once had a business sewing. His niche was marine and auto upholstery. When Covid hit, he couldn’t get work during the lockdown. He got behind on bills. Although he owned his mobile home, the lot was rented. He was evicted and they took his trailer.

Listen to your children read. Read to your children. Read alongside your children. Take them to libraries. Talk about what reading means to you & what it can unlock.
Tell them it doesn’t matter if it’s comics, magazines or books as long as they’re engaged with the written word. #WorldBookDay
