I was always warned about feminism but never misogyny. I was always warned about homosexuality but never about abuse in the church. Democrats did not want to do any mid-decade redistricting. It was Trump who started it in June 2025 with a phone call to Greg Abbott after more special election losses. Dems warned they’d respond. But Texas did it anyway - without the consent of the voters. Then Dems responded.

Democrats tried to pass a national ban on partisan gerrymandering in 2021 and 2022. Republicans filibustered it.

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

Many more blue seats in Congress and less red seats is always better for democracy, economy, society, overall health and humanity.

Texas republicans illegally gerrymandered their maps and never once asked voters how they feel about it.

California and Virginia let voters decide.

That’s the difference. They started this fight and Democrats are going to fucking finish it.

Wake up adjacents. Stop letting white people think for you. The Democratic Party is progress. Look at how they vote and evaluate what it means. They vote white every fucking time. It’s time to vote with Black Americans.
