I want to be kinder. I want to be less angry and bitter all the time. I want to find peace and center my world around creation, love, and growth. I want to help others and be helped by others. I want to be a positive influence in people's lives.
But the world is making that *difficult.*
The one regret about the very near coming events is that I never finished writing that song I wanted to about it. I mean I still can, but I feel like I'd have to pivot to a after the event sort of theme.
I turn 41 this week and for the first time in my life I truly don't care even the slightest bit that my birthday is coming up. I usually don't like making a fuss for my day, but still enjoy it to sn extent. This year tho, just feels like oh right ok, that's a thing.

It caused me to dream of someone breaking into my house through my non existent chimney and when I kicked him out the front door, his 4 friends kept trying to get in. Eventually I got them outside and struggled to call the police. My phone kept failing to call or instead of 911 would call
Barely slept last night between stressing over a project I have a very tight window to work on today and the incoming storms today that will be bad but in my sleepless state probably made them be worse than they actually will be
Then again, most of Dragon Ball post 1996 kinda is. Fun, but badly written and dumb.
Resurrection F? Still hate it. A lot more of the animation in the first half is just straight bad. I'm bow recognizing they recycled a lot of the music from it over into Super which is fine, but I still think the movie is a funish, but flimsy plot executed horribly.
Battle of God's is fun and clean. Well animated in 90% of it. Some long shots still look like I drew them. For Dragon Ball fans it's a lot of setup for the new direction and lots of world building. As a stand alone movie it's got a lot of fluff. Like a lot.
Been rewatching the Dragon Ball movies lately and I just got to the newer ones (Battle of God's, Resurrection F) and I'm seeing them in a different light after not having seen them since they came out.
New Ghost and Sleep Token albums coming out around the same time? Gonna be a good time.

The original run was so padded and slow its crazy that we all enjoyed it as much as we did. Daima is the best looking visually this series has ever been and was both fun and action packed. People just don't like to like things I guess.
Why cant folks just be happy that they're getting infinitely more content? I not everybody was around when we had 50 dubbed episodes that repeated adnaseum for years but eesh.
