That was hands down the best halftime show ever. It was filled with so many references to Puerto Rican culture and history. The sugarcane fields, the casita, the streets of NYC, and the power lines. All of it resonated so much. Boricua por siempre.

Hi, Grace from “Sinners” is not an embodiment of East Asian anti-Blackness, her character is not a symbol, this movie is allegorical but it is not an allegory.
As I said before that is a really boring and reductive way to read a really richly told story.
Comment from Polygon article: I'd also issue a trigger warning that the novel is PACKED, literally packed, with the n-word. And sometimes its quite gratuitous, sometimes a sign of the times. I don't think George is a racist, but the language is problematic in the novel so just know that going in.
This comment on the article tells me everything I need to know. Nasty work recommending this off the back of Black art.
I'm not saying journalists should never interview admitted propagandists. There are journalistic reasons to do so. But if we do, we must be prepared to -- in fact it is our duty to -- challenge vociferously all unsubstantiated claims. Otherwise, we ourselves become propagandists.
