🆕 A very useful new feature just went live in After Effects beta! Proportional Scrubbing lets you select a bunch of values and offset them relative to each other. Kinda like Quick Offset but for property values instead of over time.

Star trail images made with time-lapse sequences photographed by Don Pettit, Butch Wilmore & Kimiya Yui from ISS. Each sequence was restored, remastered then retimed using frame interpolation for their respective short films. These new frames allowed for a simulated long exposure photograph.

Someone asked about creating an effect like this in the After Effects Discord and I liked the soothing little loop that resulted.

One animated path with repeaters + Time Displacement linked to a layer with a mirrored gradient and the Mosaic effect. Change the gradient to get different looks!
