This whole thread - beautiful photos of last week's (very 1st!) Legislative Theatre in Northern Ireland, on domestic abuse and homelessness prevention policy, with @housingrightsni.bsky.social and @artshomelessint.bsky.social! Stay tuned for policy progress too 🔥
Many thanks to our fantastic facilitators Samra Said from @artshomelessint.bsky.social and @katyrubin.bsky.social from The People Act for expertly guiding our audience through the legislative theatre process with so much energy and enthusiasm ✨
Thanks to everyone in the audience who played such an active role in our legislative theatre event on domestic abuse and homelessness. The room was packed full of expertise from experts by experience to government officials to charity sector colleagues & beyond.
And some photos of the policy team live in action at our Legislative Theatre event. They were flat out working on proposals from our experts by experience & other audience members, and each made commitments to action to prevent homelessness for women experiencing domestic abuse 📝
This time last week we are in the @themacbelfast.bsky.social
for our Legislative Theatre event on domestic abuse and homeless prevention. Check out these photos of the incredibly talented group of women who co-created and performed such a powerful play based on their first-hand experiences 🏠
I'm glad to be collaborating on this legislative theatre project in Belfast with @housingrightsni.bsky.social, @artshomelessint.bsky.social and @ndawomensaid.bsky.social - co-creating policy change to prevent homelessness among women with experience of domestic violence. 🙏
We had a wonderful group of women along today to kick off our Legislative Theatre project with @artshomelessint.bsky.social & ndawomensaid.bsky.social. Over the next month this group of experts by experience will be co-creating a play on domestic abuse & homelessness to perform to key policymakers🏠
