Now I've sent off my minor corrections (I passed my viva, yay)! I can't believe that if these minor corrections are right, I'll have successfully finished a PhD!

This was an absolutely amazing pilot! I'm so hyped to see more, it really shows what amazing stuff can be made by already brilliant writers and animators when they're allowed to be as creative as they want to be!

Happy New Year! This year I'm set to finish my PhD and start my search for a job. I'm also hoping to attend some more conferences this year and go to more places regardless of the dog! I hope everyone had a fun New Years and that you achieve what you put your mind to in 2025!

Went to see the #Wicked movie today with friends. Although the theatre experience has an indescribable magic to it, the film by far covers for this by how brilliantly they've depicted Oz and the extra time they afford to certain interactions. Cheered me up greatly after a hard week!

Grief works in mysterious ways, when my father passed at the end of last May I continued with my PhD full steam ahead. Now the grief has truly sunk in I've taken a three month leave of absence. It's for the best, it does no one any good to just try to ignore it. ♥️

Found out why I've been having a worse and worse attention span lately at my bi-yearly eye test. Turns out that I've gone a few levels up on what I need for my glasses and I was probably straining my eyes very badly reading texts and looking at word documents. Roll on new glasses. 😅

It's a beautiful thing when fans don't just keep the lights on even though that has merits in itself but actually keep the community thriving and the game growing. Personally I'm still trying to do all of the content I didn't understand as a child before I reach stuff this cool!

I always wore my watch on my right I suppose because my left always felt like my stronger hand and it was annoying to write with a watch on and I didn't want to damage it while lifting things. I gave up on watches eventually, I get too distracted by them. 😂

I'm supposedly starting my write up year today (even though the application is still being processed apparently!)

Feels odd to be starting it but I know I need to update a lot of the writing and improve on it so it's at the standard of my intro and conclusion as I rewrite things.
