Today was millions of emails I’ve been ignoring for too long and my head jumping from one thing to another and a necessary, messy kind of busy. I needed something to clean my brain of the million little things, and my playlist delivered this. Thanks, playlist!

I’ve owned this book many times, and then loaned it or lost it in house moves. I had a hankering to reread it over Christmas so sent off for a second hand hardback copy. It’s finally here. Feel nostalgic and I’d talk about memory road, but road chat doesn’t feel at all appropriate.

One broken collarbone, and one boy slightly cheered by the news he’s not going to be going back to school before Christmas. Two parents counting our blessings yet again for bike helmets and the NHS.

We really are so fortunate.

The Primitives, QMU

For those 90’s Glasgow Uni pals who may be wondering, it’s still basically the same old lovely dingy dive it always was. The lavs are entirely unchanged. I’d post a photo but I don’t think taking pictures in the toilets is encouraged, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.
