I’ve owned this book many times, and then loaned it or lost it in house moves. I had a hankering to reread it over Christmas so sent off for a second hand hardback copy. It’s finally here. Feel nostalgic and I’d talk about memory road, but road chat doesn’t feel at all appropriate.

We all really do need to get off X now. I mean, he’s doing this for attention and I’m giving him attention, and that makes me feel squeamish. But at least I’m not continuing to legitimise his social media platform so that’s something.

One broken collarbone, and one boy slightly cheered by the news he’s not going to be going back to school before Christmas. Two parents counting our blessings yet again for bike helmets and the NHS.
We really are so fortunate.
