I’m in a book club which reads books and watches their adaptations at a local independent theater prior to our discussion, and we’re reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I’ve seen the movie before, but I’m reading the book for the first time. How did I not know it’s an epistolary novel?

I’m off work for a week, and I think I might go see a couple of movies, try to read a book or two or three, get some BBQ, bake some cookies, go to an owl-themed event at a local wildlife sanctuary, go to the barber, and crack open the bottle of blackberry mead I’ve been saving.

Good soundtrack though.
