Agree with this, particularly the metal part. I’ve used toothpicks in the past and they work beautifully without worrying about metal damaging the port.

I was thinking about watching it this past weekend but the F1 races got in the way. Maybe one evening this week.

I hate messes, & the fuse panel in my house has bothered me for awhile.

I’m not an electrician so I didn’t touch any live wires, but it’s silly how much shit is haphazardly hooked up and then abandoned by former service providers. One device was still plugged in and powered!

P1S with the AMS on the way!

Awesome, that’s good to hear. I used to like the tinkering on the Ender, it was good for learning, but done with that now.
The proprietary nature of the Bambu is really the only negative I’ve heard about it, but it seems like they’re good enough that it’s not really an issue.

I think my Ender 3v2 needs to go. It’s just old and slow and really out of date, and requiring a lot of tinkering to keep it going.

Going through an analysis of potential options, but what do you use? Any suggestions?

Leaning towards the Bambu P1S right now I think.

Had a roll of paracord I needed to do something with. Found a few designs online but none were exactly what I wanted so I combined 2 and made a couple tweaks and voila, a quick print and my paracord is neatly wrapped with a built-in razor for cutting and holes for a carabiner.

My favourite use of my 3D printer is to better organize my stuff. And I’ve always had problems with my shed; it didn’t come with any wall adapters & is now discontinued. So I finally modeled my own brackets to fit the shed walls & have started hanging stuff, & it’s like a weight has been lifted.

Sunday night on a long weekend is made for pork chops and wine. Garlic and butter sauce. Yum!

Holy heart attack.
Finally a couple breaks go our way, and at least we took advantage.

Yesterday was the 5th birthday of this little girl! Can’t believe we’ve had her this long already and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

You just gotta believe. All you need is a chip and a chair at the table, and who knows what can happen. #LetsGoOilers

I had some loose hockey Lego that just looked sloppy on my display shelf, so I came up with a way of tying it together.

3D printed a little piece of center ice and the face off dot and now the group actually looks like a real display!

After helping take care of the estate of my in-laws, I said many of these very things to my wife, although not as eloquently.

Oh man. I’m nervous now about what you’re getting me into!

No, I’d never heard of that. I’m going to have to check it out.
I’m not really in it for the value but I’ve often wondered how some of the sets might change over time.

It’s not even counting the kids stuff. This is just the Lego that the adults have bought each other!

Both kids won their first City playoff games today (one of them against a team they’ve never beaten) and then the #LetsGoOilers cap it with a win to break their losing streak.

What a great day for the trifecta!

The problem with not being in the office every day is that coworkers know where your secret gum stash is.

For most cars I usually just fold their passenger mirrors in as I walk by. Doesn’t do any damage but hopefully the annoyance for the driver at having to walk around the car and unfold them makes them think twice next time.

I see that kind of thing all the time while I’m walking my dog. Or people parallel parking half on the sidewalk.
I wouldn’t intentionally do anything to scratch or harm those vehicles, but if there’s not enough room for my jacket zippers or buttons to get past without rubbing, them’s the breaks.
