So do we. We had to register him to vote on his 18th birthday and he's looking forward to the rager we're going to throw on his 21st. (He may or may not have got into one of the wee bottles of Bushmill's i keep around. He will neither confirm or deny.)

We're taking Max to the vet tomorrow. He's been moving gingerly and I'm worried that he's not grooming himself properly. Keep your fingers crossed for our little old man.
It's a color corrector. Take that as you will.
it's a long story, but his surgery has been postponed until we don't know when. I'm hoping they can expedite it once he gets the go ahead. He was supposed to get cleared by a doctor to see if he's healthy enough? The appointment didn't happen so we're waiting until next week to see.
Andrew paces. Well, not now of course, but historically this is his pattern.
Dear Pope Leo: Can someone be excommunicated for being as dumb as a box of rocks? Asking for a friend.
You say that like it would be a bad thing.
I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product.
I could have given you Shalimar and Mitsouko. If you decide you like one or both of them I can provide you with a bit more. Mitsouko is my favorite.
Maybe a monkey puzzle tree?
So do I.
She finally came over, casually looked around and found the lock, key and chain in a very sensible spot that I had apparently put them. She kindly stifled her laughter (mostly). At any rate, the dumpster is locked, I'm back inside. I'm kinda stinky and have a very much needed cocktail. The end.
I got increasingly panicked and started rooting through the bags in the dumpster and as I got deeper in I was hanging over the edge with my feet hanging out and kicking, much to the amusement of my neighbor who was over in the park wondering what in the hell I was doing. (To be continued.)
So. our building dumpster is locked, because neighborhood. I took some very stinky trash down, unlocked the lid and tossed my trash in and because I'm a unhinged idiot forgot where I put the lock/key. I thought I had thrown it in with the trash. (To be continued . . .)
They also really help if you have curly hair. They cut down on the frizz. Lots of people wear silk bonnets to bed for the same reasons.
This makes total sense to me.
At least their last tour in the states. Blixa said something about it but it was so long ago that I can't remember the details.
Not that show but I think we saw them in the late 90's. It might have been their last tour.
The hot water is tepid again.
Cal Anderson will be a zoo. I miss the days before they renovated it when it was just the tweakers and the weirdos that hung out at the Smack in the Box. They were a quiet bunch.
The names of the blends get pretty interesting too. I've got one called Bittersweet Nightshade and I'm kind of regretting not purchasing Ghost of Banquo.
Next time they're here I'll let you know. They mostly do shows - they have a website and an Instagram but they're not set up for ordering. Her assistant said that she gets overwhelmed by the idea of setting things up online.
Got some of Mandarley tea's at the Punk Rock Flea Market. They're a boutique tea company that mostly sells at shows like this. Their blend names are pretty amusing. I'm drinking one called The Double Damned right now. It's minty.
Koffin Kats show last night was totally awesome, and why did I forget that Left Alone were so great? Came home with tee shirts and CDs because supporting musicians by actually purchasing their music feels like a sacred duty these days.
You had me worried there for a second.
Lucky you. ๐
Trying to get up the enthusiasm to make some broccoli cheddar soup. It would be green for Saint Paddy's Day. I have green dinosaurs on my underpants to avoid the pinching but if someone insists I also have a green box cutter that I'm totally willing to deploy.
Yes. I think it's the 7th. I love how in the current system right away means 4 months. :/
Strange people are reposting random posts of mine. Mostly asking for money when I go to check them out. Is this a thing? Right now I'm impartially wielding the block hammer but boy is it annoying.
He's eating some, just not a lot. I'm constantly nagging him to finish his dinner and I'm not sure if he's eating lunch. I might start making some bento that he can take with him. He's out there a lot as the seats are better for his hip. We're counting the days until his surgery for sure.
