I am not sorry 2025 is almost over. From a political standpoint, the best thing I can say is this has been the worst roller coaster ride of all time. Personally, having my back continue to be a problem has caused some setbacks, but I will persevere. Eventually. Until then, happy end of 2025.

My husband went to France for work last week and all I got when he got back was the cold he picked up. 😜 Would it be so hard to bring back a souvenir I actually want?
He's over the worst of it. I, however, am still feeling not-so-hot.
Hoping I'll feel better tomorrow.
Still here. Still enraged behind the scenes. Keeping a lower social media profile by design. Also, new medication and its assorted side effects are kicking my butt right now. This whole getting older thing sucks. However, I am privileged to do so...I am not complaining.
It's a gorgeous day today.
I'm trying to figure out if my now near-constant insomnia is due to change of life or just extraordinary existential dread. 🫤
At any rate, I'm awake when I should be asleep. This is not sustainable long term. Not sure what to do. Right now, being on the Internet seems to be the thing to do....
I am seriously considering re-opening my freelance business. I haven't decided for sure either way, but I know if I do this, I will do it the right way this time. I originally backed into freelancing--I've never done things in a traditional way. Perhaps it's time to start? Still debating....
Thank you for saying what a lot of us have been thinking, Senator Booker.
Seriously? I was contacted about a contract position for a content specialist at Meta on the same day that Meta is erasing the posts of Heather Cox Richardson from Facebook?
I don't think so.
We should be writing Project 2029—defining the society we want, clearly and publicly.
Let’s start today.
I cancelled both my Washington Post and New York Times digital subscriptions. I am a believer in a free press, and right now, I'm doubting these publications' integrity in that arena. Especially with Bezos owning WaPo and what he did to the opinions editor yesterday. ☹️
Taking this new social media platform out for a spin. I suspect this will become more important in the near future.
