the yrc meter penalty is simultaneously the only thing keeping this game playable and a massive trap i still find myself falling for again and again because i’m afraid to play neutral

also this setup for the glide into late hitting scratch aa grab is pretty tough and requires you to glide and scratch at specific timings to have them fall into it. i normally use this off of throw in the corner and it still does like ~140 damage from 0 excitment and 0 risc through that scaling

the actual answer is that apart from rrc that combo is entirely unscaled by moves until the aa grab. normally raven has used jS/jP or is on a throw starter by the point we get into scratch loops. it’s close to an ideal starter given the excitement and meter levels

raven is a low damage character if you dont learn the high damage routes
