I vote for the Disney one-- just seems like the right thing!

I know Artemis II has been a great distraction, but everyone should be locking in on what the President’s Budget Request is calling for and making your opinions known…
Thanks to a lot of work, we avoided this last year, but we can’t be complacent.
hey, uh if your atproto app uses app-passwords, you might want to check if your service got owned, I'm seeing a MASSIVE amount of ATOs being used for scams and I don't think they just got lucky spraying email:passwords combos either
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
It's store-brand Fruit Loops and Diablo seasonal play for dinner tonight. Oof.
"Civilization" includes us, you know. We are civilization, all.
medusaglare › Artemis I| 7h @ Threads i thought i stopped caring about space. turns out I was just sick of SpaceX, not NASA. • 18.3K Q145 G807ł → 143
Speaking of Threads, this one got me in the feels.
I'm grateful for everyone who has championed Artemis II here on the skyline in the last few days. I've been despairing about the motivations of the people who currently command our directives and capacities in science, and I needed so much to be connected to our collective "moon joy" again.

Authentical? That's a typo, and I can't let it sit.
Anyway... those folks also have to diversify how the income happens because deliberately flying in the face of the algorithm is risky, totally. All of these obstacles to connection and conversation and livelihood are so offensive.
I don't think any of this is wrong, but it's worth saying that I also see folks online who are authentical, imperfect, with decent personal boundaries, and they let their message speak for itself-- and I notice that content becoming deeply desirable and refreshing in comparison to the rest.
View down a steep residential street covered in snow.
Main streets are good. My street in SE Seattle is not. #wawx
Got drenched driving from Rainier Beach to Columbia City in the last hour...
It's chaos this morning, but at least there's a decent soundtrack.
I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
Periodic reminder that ICE does not just track and watch immigrants. They are collecting and storing information on us all.
The kids are talking about and sending parts of the Files to each other-- it's traumatizing to them. I am so angry. They shouldn't have to navigate these anxieties, and I'm not sure how to help them.
Yeah, what they said. I keep telling you how rejuvenating and grounding and connecting the games are, and I mean it on every level. Creation, storytelling, whimsy, joy, self-expression-- and even imperfection-- are medicines for the current disease. Keep going, keep going. We are with you.
If it helps, you're doing the right thing.
The reason we stopped pirating en masse is because they gave us cheap and convenient options to stream things.
With all the mergers and price increases...why on earth wouldn't they expect us to pirate again???
We found a valve on a pipe in our basement that led to a leaking outside spigot. Quick solution if you can find one of those and turn it off. I don't know if that's standard, but it sure should be.
A glass? Like... a point and not a gallon? What sorcery..?!
Babe, you're old enough now that we can tell you-- it's time to schedule your first colonoscopy. 😅
Accidents happen
But they still cause injury
Even if you don’t mean to do it
Accidents cause injury
Take care of the injury even if its an accident
Got a weird, eclectic, dark mix this morning.
Stay awhile, and listen.
I have yet to see an eclipse photo that isn't fake. Why people feel the need to make it up, I'll never understand.
