I went to Confest on the weekend. From car to camp site it was approximately 1.5km, and I wanted to avoid the shuttle bus, especially with my big OzTent, so I built a small trailer. This is probably the best idea I've conceived yet. I could probably do Bunnings runs with it too.

I haven't ridden in a while, because it's far more fast, convenient (and safe) to drive to my current place of work and public transport isn't compatible with my current bout of shift work, but I'm tempted to invest in a decent e-bike and give it a go again.
