sadly we're in a dark era where its okay to be bigoted and be hateful towards minorities who only want basic human rights and to be seen as valid.

which has led me to have a good insight of their lives, how the world unjustly perceives them. ironically enough queer people have treated me much better than my own c-shet "kin" since they're much more open-minded and understanding with many aspects of life
