All day workshop
It’s going to include “share a fact about yourself”
We are supposedly going to learn how to be more resilient in a world of uncertainties - as if we haven’t been operating in this state constantly for the past 7 years

It’s chicken pot pie time
Seems excessive … decided i won’t be making that dish :)
Turned on a cooking show, which included the instructions to use ‘home made red wine’ .. as ‘store bought red wine will be too variable in the final dish”
And i would like to know who the fuck has ‘home made red wine’ kicking around at their place?
Sitting here for the last 30 minutes thinking that someone outside is cooking a dish that smells absolutely amazing !! …
It’s not outside — it’s my chicken stock that’s boiling on the stove :/
Sent this to a mate who said “omg I have to be careful of my security clearance here’
Me … uh …oops?
Whilst walking through the white bay power station for the biennale - was accidentally caught up in a moving live dance and musical performance …. This was as awkward as it sounds
A warning might have been nice, or people marking out the area where they were going to stop and dance
The timing is weird
The messaging is weird
In fact the entire optics are weird
I had one of my summer “iced milo mocha lattes” today since it was so hot
The new Seafood Markets, (minus the thousands of influencers) is actually quite nice …. Definitely seems to be fewer retailers though
I may have a solution but it will require MORE faffing about and trial and error to reinstate the thing I was replacing - but now as a part of this solution :/ who knows if that will work - but let’s try
More things delivered and setup and apparently it still won’t work exactly as it wanted because the answers on every forum are not quite explicit enough and I’ve found now other people with the same problem as me
"Eye symptoms may signal higher-severity long COVID"
Yale researchers found 57% of people with long COVID reported new eye issues—like blurred vision, dry eyes, floaters or flashes—after their initial infection.
Things are mostly connected however they are not quite working as expected …. More cords and peripherals ordered :/
Cannot continue the thing i was setting up - because now i need new cords and new connectors. - and this is very frustrating
Waiting
Wanted a fancy coffee as a special treat .. at 8:45am on Saturday the line was out the door, every seat was taken, and there were about 30 people milling about outside - drove past and didn’t stop
Today .. it’s even busier .. if that’s even possible. Again, did not stop
Mine was @cocolarkincooks on IG
Annnddddd followed
What a never ending mentally exhausting year. Hoping the next steps / recovery goes well
I saw this recipe a few weeks ago on an Instagram reel and it’s lived rent free in my head ever since! Glad I cooked it - I’ve no regrets and can see myself cooking it again in winter
Your falafel sounds great!
Cooked a “golden carrot lasagne” recipe today - where instead of a meat ragu, it’s a carrot and vegetable puree
Ridiculously tasty and very light ! Next time though I’d probably add in some cannelini beans to up the fibre and add a little bulk
“Vera,” said the countess, turning to her older daughter, obviously not her favorite. “How is it you have no notion of anything?” Excerpt From War and Peace Leo Tolstoy, Richard Pevear & Larissa Volokhonsky https://books.apple.com/us/book/war-and-peace/id460819556 This material may be protected by copyright.
“I often think how unfairly life’s good fortune is sometimes distributed. Why has fate given you two such nice children (excluding Anatole, your youngest, I don’t like him),” she put in peremptorily, raising her eyebrows, “such lovely children? And you really value them less than anyone and are therefore unworthy of them.” And she smiled her rapturous smile.” Excerpt From War and Peace Leo Tolstoy, Richard Pevear & Larissa Volokhonsky https://books.apple.com/us/book/war-and-peace/id460819556 This material may be protected by copyright.
“The count is suffering both physically and morally, and it seems you have taken care to cause him as much moral suffering as possible.” “May I see the count?” Pierre repeated. “Hm! … If you want to kill him, to kill him outright, you may see him.” Excerpt From War and Peace Leo Tolstoy, Richard Pevear & Larissa Volokhonsky https://books.apple.com/us/book/war-and-peace/id460819556 This material may be protected by copyright.
I’m reading War and Peace, and you know, probably a lot more people would read it if they knew just how extremely cunty the dialogue is
