This has become one of my favorite poses lately, but I fear they get overlooked sometimes!

One of the big reasons I like bead eyes for these guys is how the eyes create their own face shapes, meaning that even small variations in eye height or width can totally shift the proportions of the head!

This pose, which I’ve been calling “pancake” is one of the newest ones I do - they’re just so funny!

I make a bunch of zines if you want pics! One is about my fursona, the others are about cool breeds of sheep and pigeons or my own original species. Plus one that’s ikea instructions for needle felting.

People ask me sometimes if I plan to make meowrimos in other colors, but even aside from the moss ball connection I just really like how much variety there can be in greens! A lot of times it’s more interesting as an artist to work within limitations

I love that meowrimos cover a range of complexity, from elaborate multi-legged runners and fanciful spots to sweet and simple little tuxedos like this one!

Sharp colors call for sharp markings! This one is EXTREMELY UV reactive

Calico meows are so much fun, especially under blacklight since they often have a mix of UV reactive and non-UV tones!

I always try to convey the gesture of a meowrimo with the smallest or funniest number of limbs. How many legs do you need to get the famous cat butt-lick across? Just one

I love this stripe pattern, and it really only works on the little tater tot babies so I always try to have at least one!

I’ve accidentally dyed a lot of Uv reactive greens lately, so expect a lot of vivid effects in the upcoming group!

Meowrimos

These tiny mossball kitties come from the same ponds and streams as koi dogs, and are often found rolling around with guppies. They may be small, but they have big personalities!

Some of these are already sold, but others will be part of a whole pondful of new ones at FWA, May 8-10!

I love the way the white lets me emphasize shape and details in the body, too! I think it would be really easy to lose the form under all rainbow

Last few views! The little details were so much fun on this one. I’m especially delighted by her widdle bitty hooves and it’s made me want to do more designs with hooves!
