lol! I found more rocks in this one hole than my entire time in NC

Good news is it drained in like 30ish minutes instead of 48 hours

this may not be the time/place so no pressure to go into details. but curious if you plan to continue with the secondary expanding awarness substack, blend it into the main one, or something else entirely

i'm wrestling with this as we speak so wondering how your thinking is evolving

I can’t wait for Jordan to horizontal scroll pill everyone

still think about the delight I felt the first time I discovered your site and how unique your navigation is

keep coming back to this from visa. it’s clarifying in the chaos.

the sites may change. the scene may evolve. but we just keep showing up and contributing our ideas to the public dialog.

nothing else really matters that much. we share, find the others, and open up to the serendipity of it all

Ruckboi checking in.

Rec just wrapping your kettlebell with a few towels to pack it tight for first few rucks. Then see if you like it and can buy something specific.

Inclines can get spicy. 20 lbs is a good starting point.

You have any other questions?

my favorite use of ruck is to level up something I’m gonna do anyway so it’s a bit more of a workout

Taking kid for a trail walk. Walking dogs. Easy hike. Etc

it sort of felt that way. i kept looking at everyone i passed and we had an unspoken wtf is going on here moment

maybe all it takes is one runner waking up with some fuck it I’m jogging on the left energy and the rest of us just come along for the ride. Respect.

went running today on a new lined trail and everyone was walking/jogging on the left side can’t figure out if:

(a) everyone is pretending to be in Europe, (b) we were unknowingly participating in a psychological study, or (c) a third, more complex thing

suggestions welcome

you think one of these days River might point out some paths to rediscover the sacred

3 years ago 1 0 1 0

wasn’t me but I love everything about it. Has River’s finger prints all over it 😂

one of the cool parts of this all is seeing the network be rebuilt in real time

realizing now it’s hard to notice all the overlapping connections in the mess of twitter

And Jason is awesome… everyone should follow him

beautifully said

have you read Timeless Way of Building or any other Christopher Alexander?

it’s almost as if he highlights how even an architect can embrace designing a building or space as an archeologist

Congrats! Love how it keeps evolving

planting a seed for myself that I wanna thread my experiences playing around in there so others can get a taste of how unique and valuable it is

Stretching Doesn't Work? Think Again... When you're struggling with your flexibility, it can be frustrating to try and get into challenging positions. These tips will help you make stretching work for you.

Gmb has a great intro to stretching here: https://gmb.io/stretching/

For lung expansion, I’ve just been using some breath techniques and exploring YouTube videos. Will share more on what works best once I’ve played with them longer

the connection with stress and tightness/pain is so interesting. I find I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders/back and it gets more intense when stress is high

that combo sounds sweet. sign me up

Side note: still very serious about organizing an east coast ccb/fbr retreat for you to scoot in and help tune up our nervous systems
