For context- Jeepneys became a thing after WW2. So if the Japanese never occupied it (same for the US and Spain), HOW IS IT STILL EXISTING IN THIS AU!

Ok - so The Kingdom, a film that I watched during the Metro Manila Film Fest, IS FINALLY on netflix.

When this film was in theaters, my partner looked at me and was like "Eri, how is there a jeepney if this film is set in a universe where the Spanish, US or Japanese never set foot on it?"
