Finally reading Wind and Truth by Sanderson and you always know when Wit is on the page, there’s gonna be some heaters. Could have highlighted almost the entirety of Chapter 4.

For sure, I think in the beginning, there weren’t a lot of platforms of people talking about fantasy books so a lot of people were drawn to him for that reason!

Sad for everyone who IS affected by his actions. Whether it’s because they enjoyed his books, content, or because he was a friend to them at some point. Especially his victims. There’s enough bad shit in the world, so it’s awful when you hear about it in a community that’s supposed to be a reprieve

Anybody else always get bad vibes from Daniel Greene? I’ve never interacted with him but something just seemed smarmy and insincere about him, so I stopped consuming his content after about 2 videos YEARS ago, and had no interest in reading his books.

Sanderson’s writing can feel a lot “fluffier” or wholesome compared to a lot of other fantasy writers so when he inevitably shows his brutal side of writing, it’s always a bit of a stab to the heart!

I’ll never get over Elhokar saying the words and then THAT happening in Oathbringer. It gets me every time
