In addition to surveys of the paid dementia care workforce, NDWS conducts follow-up surveys with some previous respondents to learn if they are still in their job and why. Follow-up respondent data will be included in Wave 2 data released early this summer.

The 4,699 respondents of the NDWS Wave 1 survey of community clinicians represent a national sample of nearly 500,000 clinicians who provide care to Medicare beneficiaries with dementia. Wave 1 data from all NDWS surveys are available for researchers to use for free. Learn more: www.ndws.org
