I want to see all of these, particularly the 5th Columbo.

If this is Reform’s idea of manifesto material, it tells you everything.
A party that chooses its own version of history isn’t fit to lead - it’s controlling the narrative.
This isn’t cultural policy, it’s culture-war bollocks.
We’re better than this 🏴

I'm relieved to hear this is sorted - I hope you (and possibly the engineer?) been able to have hot tea?
How on earth can everyone "have a penthouse" - is Musk just staggeringly stupid, or is he envisioning us all living in floating bungalows?
One of the first things I bought on Steam was the remastered version of this, as my brothers destroyed my CD copy of the original - and I was crushed to find that Tim Curry hadn't been signed up to redo the narration in the remastered version.
In honor of Tim Curry’s birthday: what’s the first thing you remember seeing him in?
For me it was Clue: the Movie.
If you're premiering a vid at this year's con, we have two unrevealed AO3 collections you can add vids to:
Premieres collection (vids premiering in the Premieres show): archiveofourown.org/collections/...
Themed premieres collection (all other premiering vids): archiveofourown.org/collections/...
It's been a long time, but I think it was the movie Legend - although the first time I remember hearing him was when he voiced Gabriel Knight.
This is such a good deal. I hope a few of you take them up on it! #SmallRobots #art #icons #commissions
It’s freebie Friday over on Chirp. Have a look if you enjoy audiobooks! The thing I like about this weekly event is that you can get the rest of the books in a series at a ridiculous discount.
Worth it to make an account to browse.

Ah, that moment, where you nervously export the vid timeline you just filled, using video editing software you're still not familiar with, and utter those immortal words:
"What the hell has this been encoded as, and why is so much of it green?"
But then I sigh; and, with a piece of scripture,
Tell them that God bids us do good for evil:
And thus I clothe my naked villainy
With odd old ends stolen out of holy writ;
And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.
Richard III, 1:3.
Why do we have to live in societies that use false scarcity and the concentration of wealth to drive everyone's lives, rather than a UBI-based system where people would have more time to do creative things like vidding and playing with cats?
Finally, a good new story!

In Starmer's case, I wonder how much of it is a willingness to believe the hype because of the desperate need to find someway of boosting economic productivity in the UK.
Genuinely the most accurate picture of modern Britain since that photo of the street with all the drunk people on a Saturday night.

I've had two fliers from them through the door in the last week trying to convince me they're the best thing ever for Wales. I'm choosing to believe it's because they're appropriately and adequately terrified of knocking on my front door.
This is really important, and needs to be read and shared in the UK so that it can penetrate as far as possible.
Disease is being spread through bouts feeders at alarming rates and we really need to change what we're doing.

Politicians in Peru are proposing two new bills that could mean the extinction of the country’s uncontacted Indigenous peoples. I’ve written to them to tell them to stop the threats to Peru’s uncontacted peoples. Will you help too?

This might seem kinda petty in the grand scheme of things
but this is the White House using high gas prices as an excuse for MORE giveaways to oil & gas co's.
Pls leave a quick comment- it can just be "I don't think this place should be drilled."
This week offered two different visions for humanity. The first came from Trump and was based on self-pity and ignorance. The second came from Nasa and was based on reason and common humanity open.substack.com/pub/iandunt/...
I want to flag this for direct help, but also if you have any interest in the history or cinematography of horror, Heller-Nicholas' books are a must-read.
If you look closely on the video-version of the podcast you'll spot a few of them on my shelves.

The British cover for Enchanting the Fae Queen, by Stephanie Burgis, shows a green background with a frame of climbing roses and branches rising through a night sky full of stars. In the center of the image, just beneath the moon, stands a massive, ominous castle with a hedge maze before it. A blonde woman in a long gown scattters sparkles in her wake as she leads her tall. uniformed male companion through the moonlit hedge maze at a run, while giant butterflies flutter overhead. The tag line reads: “All’s fae in love and war” and a blurb from Sarah Beth Durst reads: “Full of charm, wit and magic.” Around and beneath the cover image is this text, connected by arrows to different parts of the cover image: She's a scandalous seductress; he's famously moral, virtuous and chaste; “Yes, I may kill him, but I’ll kill anyone else who tries”; Enemies to lovers; only 99p this April.
