When creating PDFs, avoid using "Print to PDF." A screen reader user may still be able to access the text of PDFs created this way, but heading structure, alternative text, and any other tag structure will be lost. Using "Save As" or "Export" can preserve these tags.

fanart of Chie Satonaka from Persona 4. She is sitting crouched with a smile on her face, leaning forward with her head at an angle, smiling at the camera. She is wearing her glasses, and "P4" is written in big letters behind her on a yellow background. The image is cel-shaded with black.

Hey folks! Do any of you have any COUPLE/PAIRING drawings you've done based on my stock images you could share with me?

I need a few examples for a crowdfunder I'll be launching in a few months, and would love to add a few (with credit of course) if you have em

I’m currently trying to compile some reference resources (not Pinterest or stock images) like PoseSearch—

Do any artists have useful sites that help with finding specific angled limbs, poses, etc? Aphrite has been added already.

PoseMy.Art Create figure drawing reference with this free character posing tool. Pose 3D models with premade animations to create dynamic pose reference for your art.

posemy.art I think is the closest I have for what you're looking for. There are pose categories like sitting and if there's a 3D model pose you like, you can open it up and edit it. You can change the model types, lighting, camera settings, and so on. The interface can be changed to a +

Why the Ishikawa Prefectural Library in Japan Is Such a Huge Draw - Unseen Japan The library, reopened to fanfare in 2022, continues to bring in more visitors every year than people who live in the prefecture.

The Ishikawa Prefectural Library drew 1.37 million visitors last year. Ishikawa Prefecture has a population of 1.08 million- meaning it had more visitors than residents. It's been Japan's #1 prefectural library three years running.

And to using different drawing...uh...approaches? To draw something that isn't going directly towards whatever he's stuck on. If that makes sense?

1 day ago 1 0 0 0

He might be feeling drained from burnout since he's been continuously stuck in place & not making progress. Might also help to have him draw something different that he's trying to do. Ex: doing a still life of an apple is something, just to get something done +

The ones I've been using lately are pexels, unsplash, (stockphoto sites) adorkastock, (human models in sometimes gridline suits) and PoseMyArt (3D model defaults, can alter poses). I have a backlog of new reference sites to look through cause of GenAI nonsense so I've been slowly poking at them +

Yeah that's...kinda the advice he needs at this point. "Make your crappy pots". It's a lesson that's better learned by doing than saying, cause you kinda have to feel that letting go and moving on mindset and it's hard the first while. I wish the both of you luck for the advice giving and learning!

Cause then those skills can transfer over.

So basically, he can hang onto those ideas and do what he can now and practice what he's lacking. Then revisit them at a later date if the idea still interests him. That might help

1 day ago 1 0 1 0

It's kinda like the "oh this isn't how I imagined it in my head" cause maybe a person's perspective skills aren't there, but it takes practice to make what you envision reflect in the art more closely

Studies of similar ideas can help - high angle drawings, even if they don't match the thumbnails +

1 day ago 1 0 1 0

Hmm in this case, I think it's neat he wants to thumbnail out a lot of different ideas. Since it seems like he doesn't have to skill level to render some of those, maybe he can hang onto the complex ones and try those in a year? Then he can keep an eye out for refs too, or similar inspiration +

Of a piece so it either gets left in the WIP pile to get revisited one day or I just post it so I can put a pin in it. I've accepted I could always revisit it later, and people doing redraws of their older works is a thing to see improvements!

A deadline can help, cause you gotta have something!

1 day ago 1 0 1 0

For sharing, it got easier when I decided to post almost finished pieces and realized people still loved them, sometimes even more than super finished pieces. I knew the whole "see how it looks zoomed out" but sometimes I just love those tiny details!

Personally though, my ADHD gets tired +

"I wish I could draw like you!" - "I could never do something like that" "You're so talented!"
No it simply is practice

I look at people who do sports for years and think the same: damn, I want to do that! So I start to work my way towards my goal -piece by piece- So - keep creating 💙

EU: The European Union will require sale of mobile phones with “user-replaceable and longer-lasting batteries” starting in 2027.

The regulation demands “availability of spare parts and manuals for 10 years to curb planned obsolescence”.

More Than a Budget Stay: The Controversy Behind Japan's APA Hotels - Unseen Japan APA Hotels in Japan are ubiquitous and affordable. Behind the cheap prices lies an aggressive business strategy and war crimes denialism.

You've probably seen APA Hotels everywhere in Japan—over 900 properties with that orange-and-black logo. What you might not know: the budget chain places books in guest rooms denying the Nanjing Massacre, written by the founder himself.
