These two graphs illustrate perfectly the problems we have right now. We’re regularly told ”there is no money” and yet some individuals seem to have billions to spare on influencing elections 🤷♂️

Screenshot of a push notification with a Guardian headline reading ”JD Vance agrees that sexualised AI images on X are ’unacceptable’, David Lammy says”
Unbelievable that this is even a headline, let alone worthy of a push notification. What a time to be alive
That’s the story I want covered
Dear news channels, Spotify Wrapped is not news. Please tell me the news
When train spotters become graffiti artists 🤣 #ifyouknowyouknow
Ain’t that the truth! 🤣
An aerial shot of the station throat at St Aldhelm on my model railway. The platforms are under construction, some track has been altered and the turntable can be seen in the background.
A look along the platform at St Aldhelm towards the stop blocks. Both platform and station building are under construction.
A high view of the station building at St Aldhelm, still under construction and based on the one at Swanage in Dorset. Hornby’s model of Battle of Britain class locomotive 34070 Manston sits in the loco release and a rake of Pullman cars are seen in the siding in the background.
A close up shot of the track work at St Aldhelm showing a kit-built point and point rodding built from ModelU3D components
On the other side of the room sits St Aldhelm, the end of the line. Tracks were laid last year, and the platforms and station buildings are currently under construction. Goods shed, signal box, engine shed and surrounding buildings will follow soon

Thanks Jim. Still a long way to go!
An aerial view of pet of my model railway layout, Talbothays, with a SWR-liveried class 159 DMU in the platform and several preserved locos and rolling stock in the yard
Another aerial view of Talbothays model railway layout showing the yard area and campsite in the distance
An eye-level view of the platforms at Talbothays with a SWR class 159 DMU in the opposite platform, the unfinished station building to the left
A view of Talbothays station showing the ”up starter” signal and my model of BR Battle of Britain class steam loco no34072, 257 Squadron starting its train towards the fiddle yard. The unfinished station building is seen in the background
I thought it was about time I introduced you to my layout, St Aldhelm and Talbothays, a fictitious branchline inspired by Swanage and Corfe Castle. First, Talbothays, the more developed part of the layout. Still very much a work in progress
AOC 🔥🔥🔥
For those who grew up in the 1960s/'70s, Trump's 1st week was especially painful and disorienting. His dictates were an all-out assault on the civil rights wins of that era, from Selma to Stonewall, ripping up the narrative of our lifetimes.
Now what? My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/comm...
It figuratively hurt reading that 🤣
Two tabby cats in a dog basket looking up at the camera expecting treats
A winter sunrise over a frozen lake
BR U class locomotive 31806 at Swanage station with some bloke smiling in front of it
A model railway scene, clearly still under construction
Hello Bluesky. Been knocking around for a bit but thought I would offer something up. I won’t be posting much but when I do, expect cats, trains (big and small), Swedish treats and the occasional political comment
