I’m sad.
I love the book and usually offer it as a book club selection. The audio version read by him is superb. And, the book must have been written with a ghost writer. Am I wrong? Does it matter? It nags at me.

was a brilliant way to set a dark and twisted mood and foreground the supernatural; we more deeply empathize with a murderer who has been touched by demonic forces beyond his control. Also, good theater!
