I mean, is that reflective of the show quality or that you're just not super keen on their music itself?
RC has a couple distinct eras stylistically but has a massive catalogue; I can see them being a bit same-y to someone who's not already a huge fan if the setlist didn't pull from both eras.
As a side note, I've been a Rotting Christ fan since 2007-ish and actually have never seen them live (nor has anyone I've personally known now that I think about it). You'll have to let me know how they are if you stay for them!
The Stench of Redemption was okay, but yea nothing else ever clicked with me and I never understood why they're so popular.
If I'm in the mood to put up with Benton's pretentious douchebaggery, I'll just listen to the Vital Remains albums with him. They're fucking goated.
The problem with the latter is that, mainly due to the former, I am surrounded by people (at least, in online and music spaces) with whom I cannot share my zeal.
