Heat to Pistons pipeline is the new Heat to Lakers pipeline (except that the Pistons actually get good players from it)

Jaime Jaquez Jr is a finalist for the 2025-2026 6th man of the year award
My end of season awards:
MVP: SGA (Jokic 2nd)
6MOY: Jaquez (KJ 2nd)
DPOY: Wemby (Bam 2nd)
ROTY: Knueppel (Flagg 2nd)
MIP: NAW (Duren 2nd)
COY: Mitch Johnson (Mazzula 2nd)
All NBA:
1st: SGA, Jokic, Luka, Cade, Wemby
2nd: Brown, Brunson, Kawhi, KD, Mitchell
3rd: Bam, Barnes, JJ, Murray, Maxey
Apparently both the Kings and Bulls held interest in Herro at the deadline.
The Bulls offer was: Sexton, Simons & a protected pick
I get that it's a hot take, and I understand the risks but personally I want Ja the most.
1. Ja is the youngest
2. Ja is the cheapest
3. Ja's value is lower as a player, whereas Giannis and Kawhi are both sell-high pieces.
Out of interest, if no one else asks out or is on the trade block, who would you rather the Heat trade for between Giannis, Kawhi and Ja?
Now that the Heats season is over, here's what I want for each player in the offseason:
Stay - Bam, Larsson, Kas, Ware, Gardner
Either keep or sell high - Wiggins, Jaquez, Mitchell
Trade - Herro, Jovic, Dru
Expire or S&T - Powell
Indifferent to - Keshad, Young, Fontecchio
13 spins? Good enough. Welcome to Miami AJ.
Praying on the suns downfall so the Heats lottery odds increase π
Bam Adebayo was forced to leave the Heatβs Play-In Tournament loss to the Hornets with a lower-back injury after LaMelo Ball grabbed his leg while already on his way down to the ground on a loose ball.
No foul of any kind β flagrant or personal β was called on the play.
Need the lottery gods (Adam Silver) to give us a break and something meaningful to look forward to.
Being a heat fan recently has been wild when recently we've had:
- Jimmy forcing his way out
- Terry getting investigated and losing us our 2027 first
- Spo got divorced and his house burnt down
- Bam taken out of play-in from a non-basketball play
- Constant star talks that lead nowhere
At least we lost our play-in title with some dignity by taking it to OT and only losing by one.
The Heat have officially lost in the play-in and won't be making the playoffs.
Kel'el Ware has the highest 3 point percentage among centers this season with 39.5% on 1.2 3PA per game.
Need to see him involved more next season π
Bam has officially averaged 20/10 for a season for the first time in his career.
Becomes the first player since Shaq to do it on the Heat.
HEAT WIN!
Heat 143 - 117 Hawks
Adebayo: 25/3/3
Hield: 31/3/3
Heat finish the season as the 10th seed with a record of 43-39
My Heat team grades:
Bam: B+
Herro: D
Powell: C
Davion: B
Wiggins: B
Ware: B
Jaquez: A
Larsson: A+
Jovic: F
Kas: A-
Simone: C
Myron: B-
Rozier: U
Spo: C
Team grade: D+
There are some promising guys on the roster but others just aren't carrying the weight of their roles well.
With the Heats win last night, they've officially had a winning season over .500.
Despite that, they are still the 10th seed and lack any feasible direction...
IDC IF ITS AGAINST THE WIZARDS, WARE AND KAS ARE STARTING TOGETHER WE'VE FINALLY WON
I remember being so excited when we got him. What a generational fleece by the Hornets π
NONE OF MY TEAMS PLAYERS ARE UNDER FEDERAL INVESTIGATIONS ANYMORE
Terry is officially off the team now
Per Greg Sylvander: "I get the sense that as of today, Miami would take AJ Dybantsa if they got lucky and somehow secured the first pick."
He also links Miami to the following prospects: Yaxel Lendenborg, Labaron Philon, Braylon Mullins, Cameron Carr, and Tounde Yessoufou among others.
The Heat reportedly held a players only meeting after last night's loss
The Heat are officially locked into their 4th straight play-in
0-5 vs Magic & 0-3 vs Raptors (likely will end 0-4) this season, I wonder why? π€
April 2026 and I still have to hear Giannis to Miami rumours
