Oh yeah, totally not another read through for structural issues at copy edit - yes! That would be brutal. Just a read through for typos, continuity etc as there's always something!

Ooh this is interesting! So at what stages DO you do a full readthrough? I didn't do one after my copy edits, but I DID do one after my proofread, and I'm glad I did because I caught quite a bit.

We all know about the em-dash. What other 'tells' have you spotted that heavily suggest something has been written by AI?

The BBC has the footage. It doesn't have to treat truth and falsehood as equally valid.
