We could create a lot of apartment vacancies for people who need affordable shelter if we just banned dog owners

This man should be fined
Out of all the people to google in this skeet, I'll spare you a click and just say Ian Watkins was a very very bad man who was serving multiple life sentences when he was shivved to death and while I don't condone extrajudicial murder I do believe despite that victimization he is burning in hell.
It's always weird who gets sanitized and why. Like are they too important to be held accountable (Kanye/Bowie)? Are they not important enough to be held accountable (Ethan Kath)? How monstrous do you have to be and for how long to be held accountable (Ian Watkins vs. Dahvie Vanity)?
This man has two daughters 🤮🤮🤮
After public backlash, the Washington County Board of Education in Tennessee voted to censure Keith Ervin, the board member who called a teenage student ‘hot’ during a recorded meeting. But now, the teen’s father is speaking out, calling for Ervin to be completely removed from the board.
Gillibrand on the other hand
And an eagle named Anti-Capitalism would land on the desk and everyone would clap and sing the Internationale. All things that definitely would have happened if not for one minor procedural action by Chuck Schumer.
Still waiting for this to drop, Matt
Honestly it's incredible that in a thread where you mention 15-year-olds you haven't had to tell anyone "wrong guy"
Years and years of "what is a woman" discourse only to settle on a definition that includes 15-year-olds.
Same energy:

if you voted for this guy, you’re a huge fucking idiot

Industrial musicians about to become billionaires when the price of acid takes off
every agent is called like Aria or Nova and it just... checks your calendar
being a guy in a mostly woman office environment is the greatest gig in human history if they can just get over the "treat them like people" hurdle
There's also just YOLOing and using a model on RunPod with claudish.com
Oh okay, so the orchestration only consumes like, the status messages, not the whole speeches.
Honestly if you have it keeping a good AGENTS.md file, you can always just switch to gemini cli and have it burn through your free google credits too 😜
If I'm an energy trader, though, am I reading it like this?
The implicit contrapositive here is that Hormuz cannot be opened in two months under any circumstances 🤔
Could you prompt to build a one-off script that downloads the speeches unsupervised so tokens aren't consumed?
And yes, I think that not giving agents names is a great way to shortcut AI psychosis.
I think that you can criticize companies that publish named AIs for feeding into AI-psychotic delusions.
I think all of us should.

A bunch of people debating whether algorithms are sentient is a fun thought experiment but it's also delusion-fodder for the guy who is literally in love with his AI girlfriend and is slowly poisoning himself to "be with her"
And I've definitely gotten shit from people for my hard line on AI sentience but frankly for me only some of it is informed by my educated understanding of existential philosophy and most of it is formed by my empirical experience with human psychology
Of all the things OpenAI has done wrong, giving ChatGPT a threatening and utilitarian name is actually quite laudable even if it was only accidentally that they didn't feed into the kind of AI psychosis that starts when you start thinking of the model as a sentient being
One thing I'm pretty sure most AI skeptics and AI proponents can agree on is that:
We DO NOT want to "meet" your new goofily-named agent
If I'm going to be using your products I want tools that help me file my taxes or whatever, not to develop a parasocial relationship with Mickey McModelweights
A lot of platforms have figured out that "report-and-block" is a common flow, and frankly Bluesky's reporting interface is relatively high-friction compared to e.g.: Instagram's, which is also not great, but allows you to report-and-block.
TBH the best use of AI for bluesky I can think of is a tiny dumb tflite classifier that activates when you block someone to suggest a report category for them
and this is honestly from the standpoint of "the best uses of AI are helpful but invisible"
