We are just three weeks away from our fifth Back Issues Comicon event! We have four great guests and we are full up with terrific vendors. Can't wait to see you there!
…many posts but no shares. I’m not sure why? All ages event, cheap, draws a crowd to downtown Dartmouth in April & September and held at a member venue, but no help promoting. If @downtowndartmouth.bsky.social could share posts to promote the event it would help keep it in downtown Dartmouth. 2/2
So, since April of 2024 I have run an event twice a year in downtown Dartmouth that brings in a fair number of people that don’t go to downtown Dartmouth otherwise. It’s not their normal stomping grounds. Once, @downtowndartmouth.bsky.social shared our event just once. I have tagged them in… 1/2

Picked these up last weekend. The Daredevil from 1952 cleaned and pressed very well. Was pretty sure I needed 1 or 2 of the digests but I just bought the lot. Turned out I had the two (list maintenance - not my strength apparently) but one of the others was over than what I had so I swapped it out.
Congrats to the USA Women’s team. That was a lot of hustle. Holy moly.
You misunderstand. I would cheer for the American team if I was American. I understand that. Just, you know, your country is not particularly popular outside of the USA at the moment…for some reason.
If you are in the actual arena watching the women’s Olympic hockey game and cheering the USA…why?
Only acceptable reason is that you are American. If you are anything else…for the love of god, why?
You don’t have to cheer Canada, but a little silent opposition would be nice all things considered.

Went to @backissuescomicon.bsky.social (I mean, I gotta since it’s my show) and it was great. Lots of people, happy vendors, cool crowd, special guests that I am so appreciative of. I saw some people buying some sweet books. I was busy but managed to pick these up.
