More upcycled coffee bags. This chore jacket uses two bags from PDX roaster Nossa Familia - these bags are made from discarded denim garments rewoven by The New Denim Project. Planning to make a small selection for the webshop.

Everyone’s favorite color combo of the Soft Power Pant “Woobie+Track.”

This baggy, barrel shaped, pull-on pant is made from a secondhand military surplus “woobie blanket” and thrifted/salvaged track pants. *Available*

As fast fashion drives textile waste to stratospheric highs, new methods are turning mountains of old clothes into rack-ready garments. ow.ly/LwH950ULT9n

Yesterday I started working through a pile of things that needed an overdye to find new life. These textiles are permanently stained or otherwise could use more dimension to make them interesting for garments. One of my favs for this is vintage cotton hobnail bedspreads - so much texture.

SCS Soft Power Pants made from thrice upcycled denim. Discarded denim is shredded and rewoven by New Denim Project. That cloth becomes bags for Nossa Familia coffee. I’ve taken those coffee bags and made them into a new garment.
