Seems to be the pattern…

They have no respect for national security or for our armed forces. None.
And even less respect for the Constitution.

The president of the United States killed children to distract from raping children.
Ok. I had that fishbone album, and that stopped my scroll. Thank you for introducing me to Spank Rock. I liked that way too much, including the Alibi part.
EMDR has a way of turning “I deserved better”
into a deep, embodied knowing.
Shared with permission and respect.

Soft blue-green abstract background with the words ‘I Love Myself."
One of the things I love about EMDR is witnessing those real, unprompted moments of knowing.
Not insight I explained.
Not reframes I offered.
Today’s Valentine moment:
A client paused and said,
“Oh wow. I love myself. I love my younger self.”

Warnock to Bessent: "Manufacturers shed workers in each of the eight months after President Trump unveiled his tariffs on 'liberation day.' I would submit it's a strange liberation and a curious freedom that leaves you unemployed."
Doctors carry so much. They don't always get to know the rest of the story. That's good for privacy but hard for humans. It's good when they do get to see it.
I'm sorry. I see your effort and what you're up against.
Honestly more employers--of all kinds!--need to do this.
Minnesota is such a wonderful place.

Yep. We gotta just rip it out by the roots and start over. Maybe by welcoming the migrant farm work we rely on anyway.
That's the only thing I can imagine being glad to see in the files. Congrats.
Do not underestimate how much this context adds to these arrests for Minnesotans.
We lost one of our treasured leaders last year because she was tragically murdered and the tactics are being repeated. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Curious how this lands for others in medicine and helping roles:
What’s been most taxing lately — the volume, the loss of autonomy, or the responsibility without control?

Tools like EMDR can help — not by fixing broken systems, but by helping the nervous system stand down long enough to recover clarity.

That strain is harder to hold when there’s a lot happening in our communities too — fear, uncertainty, and people needing more care at the same time that systems are tightening.

Carrying responsibility without control keeps the nervous system in a constant state of bracing. Many doctors can keep functioning there for a long time — but it costs sleep, clarity, and presence.

What I see, working with physicians, is that this erosion doesn’t just live at the level of morale or meaning. It shows up in the body.

Something erodes.
Not resilience.
Not work ethic.

They stepped away because the work stopped feeling like medicine.
When clinical judgment has to be justified to non-clinical systems.
When time with patients is treated as inefficiency.
When responsibility comes without real authority.

Many didn’t step away from medicine because they stopped caring or because compensation wasn’t enough.

I’ve been thinking a lot about why so many physicians are struggling — even when they’re still functioning.

The funny thing about a certain type of angry conspiracy guy is that they’re literally being confronted with an elite paedophile ring and a tyrannical government at the same time right now, and because it isn't being done by the people they wanted it to be done by they’re all being pussies about it
Personally, I think that anyone who was sending friendly emails back and forth with Jeffrey Epstein or attending events with him post-2008 should be thrown into an active volcano.
If your children got tear gassed today I want to hear from you, even if you don’t live in my district. You can contact my office at councilor.green@portlandoregon.gov
Thinking St Cloud. But really, they're all over the state, and few places are organized like Minneapolis.
