“You can’t engage in rampant self dealing, Ponzi scheme operations across companies, and make wild claims about progress that never actualizes, all on the taxpayer dime?!? That’s MY core business model!!”

It’s so fun until it isn’t.

Love this one, and I wish I had seen Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith in this sooner, as it is some of their best work.

And Tracey Walter is somehow acting like he was in a Preston Sturges film.

Is this the one with Scott Grimes????

I read about it in @fangoria.bsky.social when it was first coming out, but never got to see it. Where can you find it?

I hope it lives up to the article I read about 35 years ago.

I was raised Irish Catholic, so guilt smothered any sense of worth, it can be a problem.

I was lucky to have a manager rehearse an interview with me, and shot a rubber band at me anytime I said “we” instead of “I”

Oh, and thank you emails/cards go a long way!

Use your anxiety to over-prep instead of over worry, and don’t undersell your contributions when speaking of your experience. Don’t let modesty hold you back!

Wishing you way more than luck, and I hope you share how you feel it went! You got this!!!

a close up of a man 's face with long hair Alt: Steve Coogan in a scene from the trip is giving a nod of appreciation and point of acknowledgement, as he and Rob Brydon had been engaged in a series of escalating Michael Caine impressions, including the line from the Italian Job - “You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off.”

Mark Ruffalo looks like his dryer has a rumple setting, and he combs his hair with a balloon. Absolutely an aspirational figure for me.

Literally every name you listed involved are talent that move things to a must watch for me. I let my Shudder subscription lapse, but picking it back up now!!

The live version on the One Night in Toronto DVD is one of my favorite music performances ever. Gord delivering poetry with the power of a shambling evangelist, stunning, powerful, and mysterious. I only got to see them once live, to my regret. All time greats.

Gary Oldman as George Sniley and Kathy Burke as Connie Sachs sitting next to one another in a still frame from the movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. A movie has never been more brown, as George wears oversized glasses and light brown overcoat, and Connie wears a similar brown shirt with a purple cardigan.they have been talking about a night at the circus.

I am nearing the end of the audiobook, and it is amazing how it presents using the scientific method as a way to approach problems; things don’t always go right, but to at least look to logical processes, and then to name the ship after a concept that requires faith in one another, I love it.

I think that message was front and center at my first show too, when it was a loving honor for Pierre, and it was amazing to see the crowd love him and for him to be there and get to receive that directly.

@baghutch.bsky.social I would hope you have a similarly favorite Naked Raygun shows to share. Grab a Wonder Beer and share with other aging punks online. I think my favorite show of theirs was at Riot Fest

These look amazing, if they could also do the 2017 series, that would be even better. A deeper bench of characters, more interesting stories, and a love letter to Carl Barks.
