Aloe Virile is available! It's a plant-themed dildo, dilator, and training toy that lets you choose its girth. It's my most advanced design to date, and a perfect way to celebrate ten years making silicone toys for you all.

With an often alarming and always hilarious compulsion to confess, Joe Matt found no aspect of his life that wasn’t more grist for the humor mill! Peepshow, the complete collection of his legendary autobiographical comic book series, is out 8/11 👀 https://ow.ly/48tc50YNetg

might be controversial but, my whole thing with Gargamel is that he couldn’t have been all that bad, mainly because he was a cat guy

A gel mono print. A drawing of a Chicago-style hot dog in bright colors. Floating over the hot dog is a flatly rendered gold crown. There is an orange circle behind the dog, orange squiggly deals radiating from the right and left sides, a black double-lined border filled with blue around the whole thing, and a pale yellow background.

Two girls (1: pink skin, dark hair, blue shirt, bird wings. 2: yellow skin, orange hair, red shirt, demon wings) are grimacing while pulling each others' hair. Below mid torso each girl disappears into one pair of woman's legs wearing fishnet stockings and garters, each leg colored to match one of the girls. Against the light yellow background, printed in gray, are various figures looking on in concern as well as further depictions of violent interaction. Large grungy sans-serif text at top, middle and bottom reads: Destroy Your Enemy

A gel monoprint. Printed in black - A nude woman with dark hair In a 60s flip style, body in profile to the viewer is turning her head to look at the viewer and pointing an index finger at her chest in a questioning manner. Mid-bust, her body morphs into a large human hand, propped up on all its fingers somewhat like Thing from The Addams Family. To the right of her head is a human skull. Printed in red- lines and dots radiate from the skull, and below it in dramatic lettering is the phrase "Why did you kill me?" And at the bottom on either side of the thumb of the large hand the words "Why was I ever born?" The background is a mottled pale yellowish and traces or red from the edges of the gel plate are seen around the edges of the print.

A difficult image to write alt text for. This is a collage of wrestling images, pagers, and random Japanese text. The two largest figures are both masked wrestlers inverted from each other. One wears a full-body gold suit, the other has striped white and orange pants, orange boots and a mask and is shirtless. Stripey is in what almost looks like a running pose, but upside down. He's being grabbed from behind by Goldie who is mostly upright. Honestly even the original photo was confusing. There's a smaller image imposed among these two of one wrestler smashing another's face with a huge drop kick. Smaller masked and caped wrestlers stand in the top left and bottom right. The colors are hot pinks, acid greens, orange, and gold.

This rather creepy photo is Artemis II’s heat shield underwater, as taken by the U.S. Navy. This is the first photo we have of the heat shield, and upon initial examination it doesn’t seem to have the char loss that Artemis I’s had.

Two hooded figures with lamps approach a moonlit, isolated cottage.
A woman answers the door.
We have come for the child, says the hooded figure
So soon? she asks
It is time, says the hooded figure.
The woman is distraught. We should never have got him a library card!
What is done cannot be undone, says the hooded figure
We couldn’t see the harm! We just wanted him to enjoy reading!
For most, it ends there, says the hooded figure, turning away and walking into the wilderness
Oh lord, What have I done! says the woman,
the child walks past her and out into the darkness with them.
Do not cry mother.
I am a writer now.

At his moment of crisis, he is shown a world in which he had never existed, and chief among the good things now undone by his absence is that he has lost the woman he loves, and who saw in him his greatest potential.

The big question, if Whyte actually could mimic Stan so well no one could spot it, is why Stan didn't hire Whyte to just...write Marvel Comics? He hired Roy and Denny and Gerry and Archie and others, and none of them could match Stan's style as well as Whyte...if Whyte actually wrote the issues...

I have read it. People keep promising more, and I'm eager to see it if it ever arrives.

Until then, we don't know whether Whyte ghosted the top-line comics in Lee's name, or if he just wrote Bullpen Bulletins, Stan's Soapboxes and the like, which we've known for many years got ghosted.

A Swingin’ Surprise or Two The best-kept secret in the history of Marvel Comics was in high dudgeon by the time he sat down at his typewriter. It was a July afternoon in 1971, and Ron Whyte, a playwright and activist, was about...

A recent essay on Ron Whyte's work at Marvel, which seems to have been a lot more extensive then previously thought. Comic book historians may have hit the jackpot.

If you’re a comics fan and/or a comics historian, this is a fascinating read on a potentially major discovery.

I was not familiar with Ron Whyte before this, but it sounds like he had more of a part at Marvel Comics than most people are willing to admit.

Panel one of a four panel comic. The Weird Doctor Strangelittle says "You've heard of the Monkey's Paw. But do you know what became of the rest of the monkey's parts? Author's Note: If you don't know the story of The Monkey's Paw by W. W. Jacobs, this comic won't make much sense to you. Even if you do know the story it might not make any sense.
