This collection is SOOOO good. Gooey and delicious, with gorgeous prose delivering the squishy squelchy goodness of flesh suits being torn apart (and occasionally put back together). Serious issues like queerness, eating disorders, sexual assault, murder, viewed through the lens of self-abandonment

This collection by @spicycloaca.bsky.social delivers on the gore, the poetry, and perhaps most importantly, a wondrous matrimony of the two unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

a black and white design that reads "you could learn a lot from a lesbian." to the right of the text are various items such as carabiners, a boot, a lollipop, a hammer, a boot, an apple, a lighter, cherries, a bouquet of flowers, a butterfly wing, and many stars. the entire image is textured to be grainy.

i can't fathom how anyone could listen to an audiobook of Beloved, because i keep needing to go back and reabsorb / reread. there's always so much happening

have you seen her videos where she discusses creating / setting up her instruments? they're fun! especially the bedazzled musical strap-on

i'm at odds with many lovely peers for saying this but cannibalism is almost never as sexy, moving, and/or transgressive as promised. it so rarely does it for me

aw, thank you; you're too kind! just so you know, i lent one of my coworkers your collection, and she seemed pretty excited to start on it

I loved this collection! Lyrical and visceral as the title promises, precise as a scalpel through your basal ganglia, highly recommended to all sickos and weirdos. Highlights for me included the extremely gutting "Lithopedion" and the beautifully cut-up "SHRIKE"

So saddened to hear about Gary Kelley’s passing. Kelley has been my favorite illustrator since i’ve been in art school, and you cannot overstate the level of influence he’s had on the American illustration cannon. One of the greatest to ever do it, and A terrible loss
