Rose Of Sharon from Tucker Zimmerman’s Dream Me A Dream available today. Tucker and Nick @hooholton.bsky.social worked hard on this 2 minute cosmic tune over the year of recording. “Everything suspended and outside metronomic limits. That song too resonates with Cosmic.” - from Tucker’s notes. ❤️

A "joint" project with Glasán, realising his concept, to create this incredibly limited release, ahead of the Glisten Trick debut gig in London on 25th April. I have to say that was part of the fun, the absolute laughter while we were scheming this thing. 😆

Making "dr*gs to make music to": I can finally reveal the Glisten Trick merchandise campaign I've been working on these past few months. 💊☠️🌈 Many hilarious weeks sourcing the various components for this psych DC care package, typesetting artwork, writing copy, going over concept.

Wow, just wow. Wayback Machine is your friend now if you want portfolio material. That's really horrible, to lose all that knowledge, and yes you're right, a metaphor...

This is fascinating, I've never had opportunity to speak to anyone who saw them early. With hyped bands there is a kernel there (Arctic Monkeys, Strokes etc.) bolstered by marketing. There's a northern group I'm watching as being developed: their bookings are weirdly high profile for initial gigs!

This Is What a Music Industry 'Plant' Looks Like in 2026 The early online commotion around rising rock band Geese was not entirely organic, it turns out.

"[User generated content] strategies are employed by labels and marketing agencies, big and small, to create buzz and the illusion of a fanbase for their clients in the hope that a real fanbase will follow...." These are marketing companies that utilise fake accounts. gizmodo.com/this-is-what...

Pyaar ke mod pe - Asha, Suresh Wadkar - Parinda (1989)
Pyaar ke mod pe - Asha, Suresh Wadkar - Parinda (1989) YouTube video by Madhav Sankalp

NP: a few days worth of Asha Bhosle tracks, since learning of her death yesterday. Her voice is spectral, so haunting, a legendary vocalist. I adore the "hot" productions of the vintage tracks, it's a style you also hear in old corridos recordings, and the passion... youtu.be/U-5Skfdi7Cs?...
