Caught some beautiful late afternoon light on the small stretch of woodland along the edge of the farm fields. Amazing how light can transform an otherwise bland landscape into something rather nice.

One form many years ago but still one of my favs. Taken on my #nikondf with the cracking 50mm f1.2 AIS lens. The Df certainly produced beautiful colours from that sensor.

A bit annoyed with myself for not taking and enough care and attention with this composition. Valuable lesson learned.

Forest rejuvenation in Rothiemurchus. What looks like a wasteland of dead and decaying trees will be a mature forest in the future.

oh my but you do get some bonnie light in the Scottish winter if you can be out in the 3 hrs between sunrise and sunset.
