Sydney community radio station faces closure after uni funding dries up 2SER, which was jointly owned by the University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University, has given many aspiring broadcasters their start in the industry.

I got my start at 2SER. It changed my life, tilting me on my career to journalism .. which now finds me in the press gallery at Parliament House in Canberra. I always recommend community radio and, in particular, 2SER to aspiring young journalists.

It must be saved.

Lessons from political cartooning After being diagnosed with an inoperable glioblastoma, The Saturday Paper’s editorial cartoonist took time to consider what really matters – and it is not politics.

Very sad news about Jon Kudelka.

He wrote this last year about what really matters.

What the Coalition's implosion means for #QT.

As there are 28 Libs in House & 28 cross-benchers, there will be alternating questions between the Libs & cross-benchers - after the first one from the Libs - for the first 8 questions. Then a 2nd set of 8 questions starting with cross-benchers #auspol
