Some exciting news…

We’re performing at the BBC Proms this summer with a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

On 2 September, we’ll join the Colin Currie Group for an atmospheric late-night Prom featuring 900-year-old chant, Renaissance polyphony, and music by Steve Reich.

Fresh from her RPS Young Artist Award success, Matilda Lloyd is joining us this week for two performance of ‘Radiant Dawn’. We started working with Matilda years ago whilst studying at Cambridge, so to perform together last night back in our home town felt like a full circle moment ♥️

As the days begin to lengthen and everything starts to blossom, it feels like a good time to share the album artwork for our next release, "Wishing Tree". Designed by Mair Park, it beautifully brings to life the verdant, summery landscapes and sun-kissed love explored in this collection of music 🎶

Here we are post-concert following a wonderful performance with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and star-saxophonist Jess Gillam. Keep your eyes peeled for a particularly exciting collab with Jess over the coming days 👀

The G6 crèche - normally a cosy corner of a London church - will soon gain its newest member… We’re wishing Owain all the best as he begins his paternity leave.

We’re grateful to Sam Mitchell, former bass with the group, who joins us over the next few weeks.

Part (or should we say Pärt) of something special 👀

We had an incredible time at St Martin-in-the-Fields last night performing Pärt’s ‘Passio’. We were joined by the St Martin’s Voices and five instrumentalists for this minimalist masterpiece.

It was our first trip to the Netherlands this year, a place where we’ve made many fond memories over time. We last performed at the Muziekgebouw in 2022, and it’s always a joy to return and sing for such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable audience.

Next week, we collaborate with the National Youth Choir, joined by the brilliant saxophonist Jess Gillam.

We had such a wonderful time singing alongside the St Andrews Renaissance Singers who were celebrating their 70th birthday. There were over 100 of us in total and together we worked on a range of music: from the 16th-Century to a work commissioned for the weekend’s festivities by Kit McCarthy.

We left a grey London behind for a radiant Portaferry, where last night we performed at the Portico of the Ards. Our programme of “Passion & Polyphony” was recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3!

Collab concerts ❤️

It was a treat to join forces again with fabulous cellist Josephine Knight in Bradford-upon-Avon last weekend. Our previous outing together was in London back in November, so it was wonderful to bring this programme of Dowland, Schubert, Monteverdi and more to Wiltshire.

Singing in America’s biggest Cathedral!

We had the best time performing in this enormous building. We were at Cathedral of St John the Divine for the US premiere of ‘Death of Gesualdo’. It was a night to remember for us: a sold-out show in one of the most extraordinary acoustics on the planet.

We’re in New York for two very exciting projects: an NYU panel tonight, and tomorrow’s US premiere of ‘Death of Gesualdo’.

It’ll be a return to St John the Divine for us tomorrow evening the biggest Anglican cathedral in the world. And it’s a sell-out!

Ohhh we’re half way there! 🇺🇸

So far we’ve spent a week in California and we’re onto our East Coast leg of the tour. Here we are after a concert in The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah. We’re sad to be leaving so soon after a wonderful couple of days in this new city for the group.

We’ve been soaking up the winter sun while performing up the coast this week. Tonight we’re in Pacific Palisades for the final stop of this West Coast leg before heading east.

We have all arrived safely in San Diego, where a morning stroll by the beach is helping us shake off the jet lag.

Tomorrow we begin with a concert overlooking the crashing waves. We hope the sea lions enjoy a little Renaissance polyphony 🦭

Ticking off another English cathedral!

Last week we gave our first concert in the magnificent Lichfield Cathedral. Over recent years we've built a strong relationship with the cathedral, which hosted the first of our Choral Singing Days initiatives with The G6 Charity.

You might’ve noticed a new face cropping up on our socials over the past few days… As of this week, Josh is on parental leave and Will Wright steps in.

We’re looking forward to returning to the States for eight concerts: from California to New York, with plenty of stops in between.

This will be our tenth USA tour! Over the years we’ve made so many wonderful friends along the way. If we’re performing near you, we’d love to see you there.

On this day 📸

This time last year we held the first of our Choral Singing Days, a charitable initiative. Working with such wonderful young singers in Lichfield Cathedral marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership and, next week, we’ll be giving a concert in this magnificent building.

It’s the start of 2026, and the G6 team have been busy mapping out the year ahead. There’s plenty to look forward to, with two tours of the States, a return to Australia, and lots of exciting projects in between.

97 concerts, 11 countries, 3 tours of USA, 18 workshop days, 8 recording days. That’s our 2025.

It’s always special to perform in London, our hometown, with so many of our longest-standing supporters and oldest friends and family able to join us. Last night we performed to a full house at Sinfonia Smith Square, a venue where we’ve been singing since we were Young Artists back in 2015.

Here we are after a wonderful Christmas concert in Luxembourg last night. Behind us are posters of the many fantastic musicians that have performed at Cube 521 in Clervaux - we spotted several familiar faces from the choral world and beyond!

We’re well and truly in the Christmas spirit after yesterday’s carol service with Pancreatic Cancer UK. It’s a cause close to our hearts and is always a highlight of our festive calendar 🎄
