CBC called New Brunswick's new self-referral abortion phone line, to try the service under conditions any member of the public may experience. The caller received professional guidance and help on accessing an abortion promptly. The helpline is modelled after Nova Scotia's - call 1-844-806-9205.

In fall 2005, ARCC contacted advertising companies across Canada, asking if they would accept our ad saying “Abortion is healthcare.” We turned it into a little study. Out of 33 companies, only 8 said yes, 15 said no, and 10 didn't respond even after follow-ups.
